I'm a bit annoyed that I can't get the Benedict Arnold or Ghost of War missions, but my inner American is screaming to play this game.
Anyhow, I'm moving this thread to the appropriate board.

Now that it's been released, you can expect less activity from me for a while. This game is phenomenal O_O. By the way, you're in for a surprise when you get started.

Sorry I've been so inactive. I've been a little distracted by a certain rabbit hole.
Anyway, I should be posting again by the weekend, if not before.

No more hostility. At the time of the post, I was 2 hours away from my copy of AC3. I got to play it today though. No more harsh feelings of neglect.

I felt like a total badass when I could name the actual historical events shown in the game. It's the little things...

If by that, you mean "beaten the plot," then I have. However, OH GODS THE SIDEQUESTS

Re: Assassins Creed III
True. Story.
I feel like they got REALLY bogged down with all the mircomanage-y "run the homestead" thing. I didn't mind the Homestead missions at all. That was engaging and character-wise, a blast. I love it when I care about my people.
However, the "leveling" them up to make finer things was unnecessary in the extreme. You can still make a metric fuck-ton of money just selling bear pelts in NY. I was like, "Can my next homesteader PLEASE be an accountant or a banker?!"
I mean come on, where's Claudia when you need her?

Re: Assassins Creed III
I told my brother to bring his Xbox when he comes up to visit. But of coarse he didn't so I never had the opportunity to get the game. But! This is going to show you how much of a life I have...
I watched ALL the walkthroughs... all the way to the end...well to be honest I skipped some to GET to the end...but still. SO I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. 0.0

You'll need to find a way to force your brother to let you play. You'll need a wrench.
