Octavian looked at his hand it was trembling was this fear? He thought no it was rage he wanted to end this damn war in his city. Men fighting like children. It angered him. "All troops fall back to the palace he ordered. Take the captives alive if possible dead if you have to. But I want to be rid of this smoldering wreak." He remounted his horse and rode to the palace.

Lucanus lunged at the the nearest soldier, catching him by surprise and instantly killing him. "Silas, come on!" he yelled, running towards the nearest opening in the circle of guards.
